Manalapan’s founders conceived it in the early 1930’s as a low-density residential community complementing its natural environment, and today it remains a small and quiet community of 495 residents. The town is comprised of two separate areas, contiguous by water. The portion along highway A1A between the Lantana Public Beach and the South Lake Worth Inlet, more commonly called Boynton Inlet, is the best-known area. Sharing Hypoluxo Island with the Town of Lantana, the more secluded area of Manalapan occupies the southern one-third of the Island.
Palm Beach Real Estate
Manalapan is located south of its more famous neighbor, the upscale town of Palm Beach, which is famous for its sophistication, architecture and natural beauty including clean wide beaches, private clubs and expansive estates. It’s also well known for shopping in Worth Avenue’s boutiques and restaurants. Palm Beach residents enjoy a wide selection of restaurants and entertainment including the Kravis Performing Arts Center, as well as land and sea sports, and these are readily available to residents of Manalapan, as are the nearby communities of Boynton Beach, Delray Beach and Boca Raton, with access to their diversity of choices for shopping, restaurants, and attractions.
